Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Danco Painting collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
When you request an estimate, call, text, or email us, we receive what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property you want work done on, and whatever you tell us about the project. The estimate request form on this site is provided by our customer relationship software, so what you type into it is stored there as well as in our records.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use these logs to identify you.
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you load a page here, tap to call or text us, or reach the thank-you page after requesting an estimate, the pixel tells Meta that it happened, along with technical details such as your browser, device, and the page address. We use this to measure our ads and to show them to people likely to need a painter. Meta may connect this activity to a Facebook or Instagram account under its own data policy. The site does not pass what you type into the estimate form to Meta, and it does not run Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies or using a content blocker in your browser. The site works the same either way.
How we use it
- To schedule and prepare your estimate, and to send the written estimate itself.
- To plan, perform, and follow up on the work you hire us for.
- To answer your questions and keep you updated on scheduling.
- To ask for feedback or a review after a completed job.
- To keep business records we are required to keep, including invoices.
Text messaging
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, Danco Painting may text you about your estimate, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and follow-ups about your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect any work you have hired us for; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.
Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are never sold, shared, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See Text us for the full messaging terms.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that keep the business running (our customer relationship and messaging platform, our website host, our email provider, and our accounting tools), and only so they can do that work for us. Page-visit and tap information collected by the Meta Pixel goes to Meta, as described above. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Cookies and embedded tools
The estimate form and the reviews display on this site are embedded from our customer relationship platform. Those embeds may set their own cookies to keep the form working and to remember a form you started. The Meta Pixel described above sets an advertising cookie on this site; beyond that, we do not set advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site will still read fine, though the form may not submit.
Links to Google, map services, or review sites take you to those companies' sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Retention and security
We keep estimate and job records for as long as we need them for the work, for our guarantee, and for the record-keeping periods Oklahoma and federal law require. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including password-protected accounts and reputable providers, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] or call (918) 935-1780 and we will take care of it.
Children
This site is for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here before they take effect.
