What we do

Painting, siding, drywall, and coatings, from one crew

Most homes need more than paint. Danco handles the whole exterior and interior so you are not managing three contractors for one house.

The Danco difference

Most paint failures start with a skipped step

Peeling siding, chipping cabinet doors, patchy walls that flash in the afternoon light: almost every one of those traces back to prep somebody decided to skip. Paint over damp wood, it blisters. Paint over a glossy cabinet door without deglossing it, it chips. Paint new drywall without primer, every seam shows.

So Danco does the unglamorous part first and explains it along the way. Wash and dry-out before exterior paint. Patch, texture-match, sand, and spot-prime before interior color. Grind and moisture-test before epoxy. Then the finish goes on, and it stays on. It is slower on day one and a lot cheaper by year five.

  • Wash, then a real 24 to 48 hour dry-out before exterior paint
  • Rot cut out and replaced, never caulked over
  • Texture matched on every drywall patch before paint
  • Cabinet doors degreased and deglossed before primer
  • Two finish coats, stated on the written estimate
  • A walkthrough with you before the job is called done

How it goes

From first call to final walkthrough

Four steps, one owner, no surprises on the invoice.

01

Tell Danco about the job

Call, text, or send the form. A few lines about the house and what you want done is enough to start.

02

Walkthrough and written estimate

Danco comes out, checks the surfaces, talks through options, and puts the scope and price in writing. No pressure after that.

03

Prep, then paint

The unglamorous work first, then the finish coats. You get a schedule up front and a heads-up the same day if anything changes.

04

Final walkthrough

You and Danco walk the job together before it is called done. The work carries a workmanship guarantee.

About Danco

Owner-run, with the owner on every job

Danco Painting is based in Bristow, Oklahoma, about halfway between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, which is why the work covers both metros. Danco has been painting professionally since 2020, and the owner still runs every job in person: the estimate, the prep, the walkthrough at the end.

The rule is simple. No job too big or small, and go the extra mile on every one. That means the trim gets caulked before it gets painted, the drop cloths actually cover the floor, and if something behind the old paint changes the plan, you hear about it the same day, in plain language, with a price.

Licensed and insured. Workmanship guarantee on the work. The phone is answered around the clock, so a Saturday leak or a Sunday walkthrough is not a problem.

Built for here

Paint has a harder life in Oklahoma

A product that lasts a decade on the coast can fail in three summers here. Danco plans every exterior around the six things that actually wear out a house in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

Spring hail

Chips wood trim, cracks vinyl, dents metal. Every chip is a place water gets in. Hail season is also why Danco watches the radar before a fresh coat goes on in April and May.

Straight-line wind

Drives grit into paint, lifts loose siding, and finds every unsealed gap. Caulk and fastening done right is what keeps a wall together in a storm.

Summer heat and UV

South and west walls fade and chalk first. Dark colors on a west wall take the worst of it. Paint goes on shaded sides in the afternoon, never on a wall too hot to touch.

Freeze and thaw

Most Oklahoma freezes thaw the same day, which means dozens of cycles a winter working on wood trim and caulk joints. Primed, caulked, sealed end grain is the defense.

Red clay and humidity

Clay splashes the bottom of every wall and will not rinse off; mildew takes the north side. Both have to come off before paint or the paint comes off with them.

Clay soil movement

Expansive soil moves the house with wet and dry seasons. Inside, that shows as drywall cracks at corners and above doors. Danco repairs them so they stay gone, and tells you when a crack is more than cosmetic.

Questions

Questions Tulsa and OKC homeowners ask

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call and ask Danco.

Shorter than the national numbers you read online, because of the sun, hail, wind, and humidity here. How much shorter depends on the surface, the exposure, and above all the prep. A washed, dried, primed, two-coat job on sound wood lasts many years; a one-coat job over chalk and damp wood can fail in two summers. Danco's post on exterior paint life in Oklahoma goes surface by surface.
