What happens after you send the form
- Danco calls or texts to go over what you described and set a time to come look. If a photo would help, send one to the same number.
- The visit. Danco walks the job with you, measures, checks the surfaces, asks about colors and timing, and points out what does and does not need doing yet.
- The written estimate. Scope, prep, repairs, number of coats, product category, price, and the time the work will take, in writing.
- You decide. No follow-up pressure. When you are ready, you pick a start date and Danco holds it.
Questions about the estimate
Yes. Danco comes out, looks at the job, and puts the scope and price in writing at no charge. If you decide not to go ahead, that is the end of it.
It helps. The estimate is based on seeing the job, and walking it with you is the fastest way to get the scope right: which rooms, which sides of the house, what bothers you most, and what you would rather leave alone.
From the scope, not a flat rate per room. Surface area, the prep the surfaces need, repairs, the number of coats, access such as two-story walls or vaulted ceilings, and the product category you choose all go into it. The written estimate shows how the number was built, so two quotes can be compared line by line.
Yes. Trim this year and the body next, or the main rooms now and the bedrooms later. Ask for the estimate to be broken out that way and Danco will price each phase separately.
The offer is 10% off qualifying jobs of $2,500 and up. If your written estimate qualifies, it is applied right on the estimate. There is no code and no fine print beyond those terms.
What to have ready
Nothing is required, but these make the estimate faster and more accurate: the rooms or sides of the house you want done, any colors you are leaning toward, photos of problem spots (peeling, cracks, water stains), and a rough idea of when you would like the work finished. If you are not sure what you need, say that. Danco will walk the property with you and tell you what makes sense in your shoes, including the parts that do not need doing yet.
